نائب طغتكين على دمشق.كان ورعا نزها، دينا حسن السيرة، وافر الحرمة، أمارا بالمعروف نهاء عن المنكر، كثير المحاسن. توفي في شعبان، وحزن عليه الناس. وولي شحنكية دمشق بعده ابنه عمر السلار.
